How To Take Your Photo
- You should take your photos on your phone. Work with a co-worker to help take your photo on your phone, then do the same for them.
- Photo Guidelines:
- ID photos must be in colour, look professional and clearly show your face so they can be used to identify you.
- Photos should be high-resolution, and have been taken within the last 6 months and reflect your current appearance. You are welcome to use photos taken for other ID cards.
- Photo should capture from slightly above top of hair to middle of chest
- Stand in front of a light-coloured, solid background
- Face the camera and have your eyes open
- A smile or natural expression is encouraged
- Do not have objects or other people in the photo
- Ensure the photo is in focus and doesn't have shadows
- Don't use your camera's flash - ensure good lighting without a flash
- Don't use any filters
- Glare on eyeglasses can usually be avoided with a slight upward or downward tilt of the head
If your photo doesn't meet the guidelines, you may be required to submit another photo.
